The MMB Story
On a trip to Nigeria, I kept hearing a question that stopped me — "Do you want to go make your hair?" Make my hair. Not get it done. Make it. Something about that stayed with me.
When it came time to rebrand, it clicked. This was never just about looking good on the outside. It's about feeling amazing on the inside, too.

Meet Kanesha
Kanesha Hairston
Founder & Master Cosmetologist
Kanesha Hairston is the owner and founder of Make Me Beauty — a luxury beauty experience built on passion, transformation, and authenticity. A proud mother, lover of life, believer in the Most High, entrepreneur, and women-owned business owner, Kanesha has dedicated over 11 years to mastering her craft in the beauty industry.
A licensed Master Cosmetologist and graduate of Empire Beauty School, she specializes in creating confidence-boosting transformations while helping clients feel seen, elevated, and beautiful from beginning to end.
Originally from Flint, Michigan, Kanesha's journey to Atlanta started with a memorable family adventure — traveling on the back of a U-Haul truck alongside her brothers after her mother decided Georgia was where she wanted to build a better future for her family. Today, she calls Roswell, Georgia home.
Through Make Me Beauty, Kanesha combines luxury beauty services with genuine connection, creating an experience that goes beyond hair.
